Whenever we make our way down to the beach, I always try to bring a book with me. As I’ve gotten older I have found I crave sitting in a chair on the beach, listening to our kids playing and the waves crashing, and getting lost in a good book.

Sweet readers, what are you up to this weekend? We’re still at the beach and had the most beautiful, relaxing day playing, lounging, and relaxing in the sand.

In a world that stresses having more of everything, and that excess is where your worth and value come from, I can’t help but think that bigger is not always better. In fact, it might be the opposite. Sometimes, all that matters is who you’re sharing your time and space with.
