Happy Friday, friends. It’s been a pretty awful week, hasn’t it? From the tornadoes that devastated Nashville (click here to help those affected) and with Super Tuesday, it seems like a rough couple of days for pretty much everyone.

Today’s Feature Friday is Michael, who lives in Stockholm with his husband. Here he shares his biggest inspiration, what it was like growing up, at one point, in a “blokey” environment, and how his mother took it when he came out to her (hint: it gave us chills in the best possible way). Happy Friday! Any plans this weekend? Middle kiddo Z started school today (yay!), something we’ve been hoping would be able to happen for a while now. His brother and sister are already enrolled in school and he was feeling a little left out, so we’re all thrilled he’ll be able to finally go to school now, too.

A sad day.

Flying World Business Class with KLM is an experience in and of itself, with the best service, friendliest flight attendants, and the most delicious meals. You leave the plane feeling taken care of and, most of the time, wishing the flight was a little longer. It’s easy to fall in love with flying World Business Class with KLM, but there is one part of the whole experience that we never expected to fall in love with: receiving a KLM Delft Blue House at the end of every flight.

On perhaps the wettest and dreariest Monday in existence, let’s see what we can be grateful for today instead of being frustrated with how things have actually gone.

It started flurrying yesterday but we didn’t think anything of it. This morning, we woke up to a winter wonderland. That is, for Tennessee at least.
