If At First You Don't Succeed

Remember last week when I wrote about the dinner with my sister that didn’t end up happening and how upset I felt about the whole ordeal? Well, last night, after weeks of trying to make it work, we finally all sat down around the dining room table to eat and all felt right with the world. If at first you don’t succeed!

I made homemade spaghetti and meatballs (I will be posting the meatball recipe tomorrow!) and we all sipped red wine and laughed as we caught up. It’s been way too long since we’ve had them over. And then, when it was all said and down, they left shortly before we filmed last night’s Vino & Vent. It was total bliss.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love that we live so close to family?
