Have a Cozy Friday Night

Dear reader, how was your week? What are you up to this weekend? As I write this, there’s a chill in the air that is absolutely intoxicating. Fall is finally here in Tennessee and I am loving it.

After working on the computer all morning sending emails and editing a video and the newsletter until my eyes crossed, we drove out to the farm and have spent the majority of the day here. I’m writing with the smell of campfire in the air on the pavilion at the farm, and the weather is just about perfect. The kids have been out in the field and trees all day, and I love to hear their faint laughters off in the distance. We all took a walk through the field and said hi to Josie, who is now out here full time, and the donkeys and all the sheep and the dogs. It’s a beautiful day for saying hi to everyone and giving those who will let us touch them a nice rubbing.

Meanwhile, I have been in and out of Holiday House today measuring for furniture for the kids’ rooms. I can’t wait to show you what HH looks like right now. It’s all coming together better than we imagined. We love it so so so much and I am counting down the days until we can get in there!
