The Number One Trend We Saw Everywhere in LA

The Number One Trend We Saw Everywhere in LA

It seems like no matter where we went or what we did, every man had this one thing…

A mustache. A MUSTACHE! Are they super in right now? The waiter, the man at the front desk, random people on the street. They were all sporting mustaches, which made me wonder if they’re just super popular in LA, or in California in general?

Apparently, mustaches are making a comeback. Glossy says:

“Data from Gillette estimates that 12.5 million U.S. men, or 9.6% of the U.S. male population, were wearing mustaches as of September 2022. Mustache adoption has seen an increase of 1.5% since March 2020, which is the biggest increase in facial hair styles out of those tracked by the brand, including clean-shaven, stubble, mustache, beard, beard with mustache and goatee.”

They go on to mention stars like Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Pedro Pascal, The Weeknd and Jacob Elordi have been sporting ‘staches lately and, as trends come and go, that they’re definitely back in.

Here in Tennessee, you see them every now and then, but they definitely don’t seem to be as common as they are out west. PJ and I flirt with mustaches every once in a while. I really like when PJ has one, actually! I think it’s so cute.

Thoughts? Do you have a mustache? Or like that they’re back in style??
