The 8 Best Coffee Makers, According to You

The 8 Best Coffee Makers, According to You

On Instagram last week, I asked what kind of coffee maker you have since our Ninja Coffee Bar (that we love and have had for 5 years!) won’t stop leaking and I can’t seem to find a solution to make it stop.

You all came through and provided so many great suggestions, along with why you love your coffee maker, and now t’s just a matter of deciding which one we want to go with.

I compiled a list of the most common coffee machines that kept popping up from your mentions. Keep scrolling to get some ideas if you’re in the market for a new coffee maker yourself, and see which one was by far the most mentioned!

Ninja Coffee Maker

I know I said we have had trouble with our Ninja, but this one kept coming up again and again, with many of you saying you had the old model (the same one we have now) and had trouble with it too, but that the new model has given you zero problems and that you highly recommend it. This is great news because we love our current coffee maker and would honestly love to keep it. Speaking of…

Ninja DualBrew Pro

Another favorite, with one reader saying, “We have the Ninja Dual Brew. We like how sleek it is and the ability to brew pods or pots!” I definitely like the look of this one better than the standard Ninja Coffee Bar, and it looks like it would take up less room on the counter, too.

Keurig K-Duo

We actually have this coffee maker at the tiny house! I do like it, though we have moved away from using K-cups in the last few years and use the re-usable cartridge. I like that it has the ability to make a full pot of coffee and is single use, which is one of the things we’re looking for the most in a coffee maker.

Hamilton Beach FlexBrew

So many suggestions for this one! You all loved that you can make a single cup or a whole carafe, which is a must for us (and so many of you!).

Cuisinart Single Serve + 12 Cup Coffee Maker

A super popular one, but I’m not surprised! Cuisinart has been around for ever and people swear by them. I have always heard great things about them, too, and they last forever. One reader said she is on her second one and will never have anything else!

Breville Grind Control Coffee Maker

This was probably in the top three of the most mentioned coffee makers. So many comments about how fresh the coffee tastes since the machine grinds the coffee beans for you, and one reader mentioned how it’s an “Amazing machine, same maker as Sage without the price tag!” Sounds good to me.

Technivorm Moccamaster

I had never heard of this machine before so many of you told me about it, but I was so curious after all the recommendations for it. One reader mentioned how it makes “perfect coffee in a simple setup” and another said it offers “consistency over the decades of use.” DECADES of use? Sign me up!!

And finally, the most popular one by a long shot:

Nespresso VertuoPlus

People are obsessed with this one. It received the most recommendations with folks commenting how it makes coffee and espresso, along with small pours and full carafes. Another reader said, “Every cup tastes so fresh and is brewed at a different temperature/pod.” I don’t think it gets better than this one!!

There you have it!!! Thanks to everyone who submitted and helped us narrow down which one we want to go with next. I’ll let you know which one we choose!
