Instead of our usual breakfast spot in the dining room (which is right next to our bedroom), we had breakfast in the den this morning to let PJ sleep a little longer. We were up way too late last night finishing up some work, so we all needed a little bit more shut eye this morning.
Besides that, it was kind of fun to switch things up. We’ve settled into a comfortable routine the last 5 months where not MUCH changes unless we put forth some effort. Our days somewhat run together and look wildly the same, so the kiddos enjoyed eating “on the floor” in the dim-lit den today, with some furry company that were more than happy to sit with them.
Is it truly not the little things these days?
