Dear friend,
Every year around this time, I become increasingly antsy for fall to hurry up and get here. It’s inevitable. After months of the summer heat (averaging 90 degrees every day here in TN), I’m ready for a change. Fall is our favorite season of the year, and is one of the reasons we got married in October (peak fall month, right?).
It’s especially welcome this year, after the last few months everyone has endured. I’m looking forward to crisp, crunchy leaves and big cozy sweaters, and taking walks with the kiddos without being soaking wet the minute we all step outside. Also on the to-do list once it starts getting a little cooler: decorating for fall, lighting the pumpkin spice candles we hoard all year long, and watching our favorite movies. It’s the coziest time of the year and we’re ready and waiting for it to arrive.
