A Small Abercrombie Haul
What is it about spring that makes me want to simplify everything? Lately I’ve been craving fewer layers, fewer decisions, and even fewer “what am I even wearing?” moments in front of the mirror.
So this season, I’ve decided to lean into what feels easy, classic, and just nostalgic enough to make my inner 90s self feel seen. And since Abercrombie is doing their Spring Sale with 25% off, I decided to get a few pieces that I will be living in this spring:
A good white tee is the backbone of a wardrobe and is so classic. This one has that perfect relaxed fit that feels borrowed from a 1997 catalog in the best way. It skims just over my pants, which is how white tees are supposed to fit, and it works with everything.
If skinny jeans were a long chapter, consider this the plot twist. These relaxed straight jeans are giving pure 90s energy without feeling costume-y. I’m wearing the medium wash. They sit just right and aren’t too baggy or too slim. I’ve never had a pair of jeans fit me this well before, and I had my eyes on these long before I hit the check out button. This is the silhouette Abercrombie does so well right now. That subtle throwback shape that feels nostalgic but modern at the same time. Like a rom-com lead walking through SoHo with excellent lighting. I can already tell these will be the jeans I reach for over and over again.
Baggy Cotton Texture Pull-On Pants
These might be the sleeper hit of the haul. These pants are relaxed in the way spring should be. They’re comfortable without looking like you gave up. The fabric has that soft, lived-in feel that makes them feel effortless. Paired with the white tee, it is an instant outfit. Paired with a lightweight sweater at night, even better. They are the kind of pants that make you rethink why you ever tolerated stiff waistbands.
All three pieces together feel cohesive. Classic shapes. Neutral tones. That understated 90s nostalgia that Abercrombie has really mastered lately. And with the 25% off Spring Sale, it is the perfect time to build a little capsule that you will actually wear.
If you need me, I will be rotating these three pieces on repeat, pretending it is 1998 and minimalism is back. Click here to shop all the pieces in one place (including my favorite Birkenstocks).
