Homemade Crunchwrap Supremes
An easy homemade Crunchwrap Supreme made with seasoned ground beef, shredded Mexican-style cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and a crispy tostada shell. The perfect Taco Bell copycat recipe for an easy weeknight dinner!
Every once in a while, PJ sees something on TikTok and decides we need to make it immediately. This time, it was homemade Crunchwrap Supremes.
We had some leftover ground beef in the refrigerator one night, and after seeing someone make these on TikTok, PJ decided to give them a try. I'm always happy when someone else comes up with dinner, especially when it involves tortillas, cheese, and anything remotely resembling Taco Bell.
They turned out so good! They're crispy on the outside, filled with seasoned beef and all our favorite taco toppings, and surprisingly easy to make at home. It's also a great way to use leftover taco meat and turn it into something that feels like an entirely new meal.
Ingredients
4 large burrito-size flour tortillas
2 cups cooked, seasoned ground beef
4 tostada shells
1 cup shredded Mexican-style cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 diced tomato
1 tablespoon oil or butter for the skillet
Directions
Warm the beef. Heat your leftover seasoned ground beef in a skillet until warmed through.
Layer the ingredients. Place the beef and a sprinkle of shredded Mexican-style cheese in the center of a large flour tortilla. Add a tostada shell, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and more cheese.
Fold it up. Fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center, working your way around until the filling is completely enclosed.
Toast until crispy. Heat a little oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Slice and serve. Cut in half and enjoy while everything is warm and crunchy!
