Getting Back to Normal

For the first time in almost a week, I finally felt a little more like myself today. My stomach is pretty much back to normal after catching a horrible bug this weekend, and I was able to workout today for the first time since last Thursday, which, even though I don’t love working out as much as, say, PJ, I do hate it when I skip that many days in a row. I can already feel my body starting to lose muscle just from taking a few days off.

It’s funny that we don’t realize how good we have it until we start to feel badly. I personally take my health for granted and don’t even think about it on a day to day basis, but laying in our bed this past weekend in so much pain really had me feeling thankful that I don’t feel like that but once every few years.

Nothing like a little sickness to make you count your blessings!
