Remember how I said the beach sounded so nice right about now? Well we decided it sounded better than ever, so we loaded everyone up and drove down for a week with our family.
My mom and her best friend Pam are staying with us in one of the most beautiful houses we’ve ever been in, and by a weird twist of fate, PJ’s entire family is here at the same time as us, staying about 30 minutes from our place. We’ve been driving to their condo every day and swimming in their pool (it’s heated, which feels so nice with the colder March weather) and walking straight onto their beach access. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better set up.
We’re here for a few more days and, even though the weather isn’t supposed to be great for the rest of the trip (the storm was monstrous last night), a change of scenery is just so welcome right now.
Especially when it’s spent with family at the beach.
